Number of tentacles on an octopus
How many tentacles does an octopus have?
The octopus is a cephalopod mollusc of the order Octopoda. Octopuses have two eyes and four pairs of arms. Obviously, these arms are bilaterally symmetric. Did you know that the octopuses are among the most intelligent and behaviorally flexible of all invertebrates? Scientists discovered octopuses use six of their tentacles as arms and two as legs. The most interesting part is that the octopuses’ third tentacle from the front has an interesting role. Believe it or not, was employed for eating.
