There are 3125 people on death row in the United States of America. It is important to know that 3064 (98,13%) are male, and 61 (1.87%) are female. Needless to say, 44% of these inmates are White, 41% are Black, 12% are Latino/Latina, 1.13% are Native American, 1.26% are Asian. Keep in mind that there are currently 15 states in America that do not have any inmates on death row. 733 of these persons belong to California. Not too many people know that California currently has the highest population of condemned prisoners in all of the 50 states.
