The problem of missing kids is extremely serious and complex.  This is a dangerous trend.  More and more children are missing.  The number of missing children can be found in the National Incidence Studies of Missing, Abducted, Runaway, and Thrownaway Children (NISMART-2): 800,000 children younger than 18 are missing each year and 2,185 children are reported missing each day.  Moreover, more than 200.000 children were abducted by family members while more than 58,000 children were abducted by nonfamily members.115 children were the victims of “stereotypical” kidnapping.
