How many left-handed people are there?
682 million.
In his book “A left-handed History of the World”, the author Ed Wright points out that left-handedness is a characteristic of about 10% of the world population, which equals approximately 682 million people. Men are more likely to be left-handed than women (12% against 8%). Some famous lefties: Alexander the Great, Joan of Arc, Michelangelo, Isaac Newton and Beethoven.
