How many heartbeats are there in a lifetime?

Approximately 3 billion

A rate of 72 to 80 heartbeats per minute is normal for a healthy human being. Human beings have an average lifespan of 70 years. If the solar year has 525,948 minutes and 48 seconds, and an average person has a heart rate of 80 beats per minute, then the total number of heartbeats in year would be 42,075,840 give or take a few seconds. If this person lives to the ripe age of 70, then a reasonable estimate of the number of heartbeats in a lifetime is about 3 billion.
