How many dwarf galaxies are there?
It is important to know that a dwarf galaxy is a small galaxy composed of up to several billion stars. Keep in mind that some astronomers estimate that there are between 100 billion and 200 billion galaxies in the known universe. Needless to say, there are approximately 7 trillion Dwarf galaxies in the visible universe. Moreover, there are also 25 billion galaxy groups in the visible Universe. Not too many people know that a single galaxy such as the Milky Way contains upwards of 200 billion normal stars.
