How many dual income families are there?

54% of the married couples

It is widely known the fact that, as the name perfectly suggests, dual income families are families in which there are two people working.  More and more families in the United States are dual income.  Statistics show the fact that 54% of the married couples represent dual income families.  It is also interesting to know the fact that in 22% of the families the husband is the only person who works.  Needless to say, in 7% of the families only the wife works.  In 17% of the families no one works.
