Number of deaths in WW2

How many deaths were there in WW2?

Over 60 million people were killed

Did you know that World War II was the deadliest military conflict in history?  Believe it or not, over 60 million people were killed, which was over 2.5% of the world population.  This was definitely something.  When it comes to the WW2 deaths, statistics show that the total number of deaths ranges from 50 million to more than 80 million.  Anyway, keep in mind that the higher figure of 85 million includes deaths from war-related disease and famine.  It is important to know that civilians killed totaled from 38 to 55 million.
