Paris is known all over the world for its cafes.  It is interesting to know that the number of cafes in France fell from 200,000 in 1960 to a little over 41,000 in 2009.  The main idea is that cafes are not about the coffee, but about the people, the persons you have the chance to interact with.  Paris cafes are alive and they are going to be alive many years to come.  The Paris café represents a real magnet for artists, philosophers and visitors all over the world.
