Everyone knows that from 1991 to 2003, the U.S. and its allies conducted a low level air war over northern and southern Iraq.  They attacked Iraq’s air defenses.  Specialists consider that United States has unleashed a real bombing campaign.  Imagine that 120,000 sorties were launched and 265,000 bombs were dropped.  Not too many people know that since then, the missions never stopped.  In February 2003, the U.S conducted a new military campaign.  This is the main reason Iraq had been subjected to 41000 sorties and 27,000 dropped bombs.
