Number of African American (Black) orphans in the US

How many African American (Black) orphans are there in the US?

34% of total orphans

Unfortunately, there are more and more orphans worldwide.  When it comes to the latest available figures from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), there are about 123,000 orphans in America.  Not too many people know that 40% are white, 34% are black, and 18% are Hispanic.  What is with these children? These kids have entered the foster care system because they were abused, neglected, or abandoned and are available for adoption into new homes.
