The exact number of adjectives in Spanish is not known.  It is important to know the fact that the Spanish language uses adjectives in a similar way to English.  Keep in mind the fact that Spanish adjectives usually go after the noun they modify.  Needless to say, they agree with what they refer to in terms of both number (singular/plural) and gender (masculine/feminine).  Keep in mind that Spanish adjectives are very similar to nouns.  They are also often interchangeable with them.
