Number of Moons on Mars

How many moons are there on Mars?

2.

According to the book “The Solar System”, by Michael A. Seeds, Mars has two small moons: Phobos and Deimos. The first one measures 20km x 23km x 28km; the second one has a diameter of 12km. Deimos is 3 times more distant from Mars than Phobos ‘“ should it be observed from Mars, this moon would seem 15 times smaller in diameter than Earth’™s moon.
